About asciitable.co

asciitable.co is a reference for the 128 characters of ASCII, the American Standard Code for Information Interchange. Find any character by its glyph, number, escape sequence or name, and copy any of its codes in one click.

Every character has its own page, such as /0x1b for Escape. The tools show the bytes of any text, compare the extended character sets, let you flip a character’s bits, and print the whole table on one page.

Data

Everything on the site comes from one data file: names, codes and notes for all 128 characters, and the upper half of Windows-1252, ISO-8859-1 and code page 437. You can download it as JSON.
